“I believe that pharmaceutical science is the gate that enables utilising chemistry in the best possible way to improve health and life quality.”
Meet Osama…
Osama was born in Hebron and grew up on the top of Al-Rahma mountain. His passion for chemistry was clear from early adolescence when he would participate in chemistry competitions during middle school.
He was fascinated by the limitless space for creativity. After graduating from secondary school, Osama was determined to take that passion to a new level.
Studying Pharmacy at Hebron University was of great pleasure to Osama. He says that “pharmaceutical science is the gate that enables utilising chemistry in the best possible way to improve health and life quality.” In his final year, Osama was chosen to participate in the ERASMUS+ exchange program at Bradford University in the UK. It was during this programme that Osama had the opportunity to work on advanced research about nanocapsules as a promising drug delivery system.
Academics aside, Osama loves playing the piano, as well as playing and studying chess as it has helped to improve his problem-solving, creative thinking, strategic planning, and leadership skills. For three years, Osama led his university team in the Palestinian universities chess championship where they achieved a silver medal. He also managed to win the Bradford University chess tournament.
Pharmaceutical Analysis Technology and Biopharmaceuticals at Kings College London provides advanced topics in the science of modern drug development, delivered by leading experts in the field. Osama hopes that this can provide him with the required experience to be effectively enrolled in the world of pharmaceuticals to implement new actions for the enhancement of our healthcare system.
