On Monday 29 June, The Bseisu Foundation was honoured to attend the parliamentary reception, "The Future of Palestine: Strengthening UK–Palestine Relations," at the House of Commons. The reception provided an important opportunity for parliamentarians to engage directly with Palestinian students supported by The Bseisu Foundation and to hear first-hand about both the challenges they have faced and the opportunities that access to higher education can create.

For the scholars themselves, the event provided a meaningful platform to share their experiences, advocate for greater educational access, and express hope that many more Palestinian students will be able to pursue higher education in safety. Read More

Since stepping onto the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTMKL) campus, my goal has been to make an impact that goes beyond regular university life. 

During the holy month of Ramadan, I had the privilege of organising a Ramadan Outreach Programme to support 30 Palestinian families living in Malaysia. Working hand-in-hand with the UTM International Office, I helped direct a generous fund of 10,000 Malaysian Ringgit to provide practical help to these families. Yet, true support is about more than just financial assistance; it is about building community and bringing joy to people’s lives. This is why, on the 14th of March, we held an event that brought together both organisers and beneficiaries of the program. On 13 March 2026, the Bseisu Foundation hosted its annual Iftar gathering to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. We came together at Yalla Yalla, a cosy and beautifully lit Lebanese restaurant tucked just behind Oxford Street.

The word Ramadan (رَمَضَان) takes its name from an Arabic root meaning “scorching heat,” though the early March evening in London was anything but. Yet as guests arrived and began to share Iftar, the atmosphere soon became warm and welcoming.

London, 23 October 2025 – The Bseisu Foundation proudly organised a Gala Dinner for Palestine, bringing together friends, partners, and supporters in a powerful evening of solidarity and generosity.

Guided by the vision and responsibility of Co-Founder Amjad Bseisu, the dinner was dedicated to raising funds for the rebuilding of Gaza’s education and health systems, which have suffered immense destruction since the devastating events that began unfolding in 2023.

The evening was not only a space for connection and reflection, but also a call to action. Through the generosity of attendees, donations were raised in support of UNRWA, Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), Gaza Sky Geeks and other humanitarian organisations working on the ground to deliver critical health and education support to Gaza.

This Gala Dinner stood as a testament to the foundation’s enduring belief in the transformative power of education, health, and community. It reinforced the message that even in the face of crisis, solidarity and collective action can pave the way toward hope and rebuilding.

London, 20 March 2025 – The Bseisu Foundation hosted a heartfelt Ramadan Iftar, bringing together scholars, alumni, and friends of the foundation for an evening of reflection, gratitude, and community.

Led by Co-Founder Amjad Bseisu, the Iftar provided a meaningful opportunity to share a meal, strengthen connections, and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan. The evening was further enriched by the presence of UK Members of Parliamentand the Ambassador of Palestine to the UK, whose attendance underscored the importance of solidarity with the Palestinian community during the ongoing unfolding situation in Gaza.
