Hazirah was born and raised in Selangor, Malaysia and has known that she wanted to be an engineer since high school as she had a great passion for Physics and Mathematics.

Hazirah is currently studying Mechanical Engineering with Honours at the University of Technology, Malaysia. Since high school, Hazirah has known that she wanted to be an engineer as she had a great passion for Physics and Mathematics. After her foundation year, Hazirah decided to pursue Mechanical Engineering specifically because it introduces her to many discipline of mechanical systems that are widely used and applied in industries.

Other than that, Hazirah enjoys getting her hands dirty on machines by exploring and operating them.

Hazirah decided to pursue her degree at the University of Technology, Malaysia, UTM because it is one of the top universities in Malaysia that also does research. UTM also specializes in technical studies which gained her interest. Besides their achievements, UTM offers a conducive environment for Hazirah’s studies.

In the future, Hazirah would like to pursue a career in a field where she could learn more, gain experience, show off her great potential and knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and most importantly to inspire others. “I believe that wherever my path may take me will be a chance for me to learn and grow.”
