“Coming from a country where the healthcare system is the main focus for many people has surprisingly given me a push to authentically consider further self-development in the medical field.”
Meet Nesreen…
Nesreen is from Jordan and graduated from the Jordan University of Science and Technology with a BSc in Radiologic Technology.
After graduating, Nesreen then worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the faculty of Applied Medical Sciences.
Since she started studying Radiologic Technology, completing postgraduate studies has been on the top of Nesreen’s priority list. Nesreen has always been immensely interested in scientific research in various radiology related topics. Towards this end, she has participated in international conferences where using different Medical Imaging modalities was being introduced.
Nesreen chose to pursue a Master's degree in Medical Ultrasound for a number of reasons; to deepen her theoretical notions, improve her clinical and teaching skills, as well as research capabilities, and ultimately expand her knowledge, and broaden her horizons in the correspondent field.
Nesreen chose Imperial College London to pursue her postgraduate studies as it provides an advanced degree in Medical Ultrasound with an area of specialism in Vascular Ultrasound and is the only MSc of this type to offer a clinical attachment as part of it. “Definitely a great choice for postgraduates to go for.”
