Completing a one year Masters Degree at Imperial College Business School, Tarek was the Foundation’s first UK scholar.

Tarek is an alumni of the Bseisu Scholarship programme and was initially awarded the LIFE Lebanon Scholarship.

Tarek now works at CDC Group, UK's Development Finance Institution (DFI) as a Debt Associate. He specifically looks at providing loans for companies that promote resource efficiency in Africa and South Asia. Prior to this, Tarek's past work experience includes his role as an Energy Consultant, specifically looking at decarbonising real estate portfolios and Sustainability Engineer, designing low-carbon buildings.

Tarek graduated with a MEng in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UCL and a MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School.
