We invest in brighter futures.

Our mission is to break down financial barriers to higher education. We support bright students across the world to pursue higher education.

We believe that the cornerstone of human development is empowering youth through education and accessibility. Intended for those unable to afford full-time study abroad, we provide scholarships for passionate and committed individuals and provide them with the support they need to maximise their educational experience.

We focus primarily on supporting young people, women and refugees who want to study STEM degrees at postgraduate level. We provide scholarships at internationally renowned universities across the UK, US, Middle East and Malaysia.

All of our scholarship programmes are administered through university admissions departments or partner organisations and we do not receive applications ourselves. This allows us to ensure academic integrity through the application process.

We support our students financially through their studies as well as providing a community with shared experiences and a vibrant, high-achieving alumni network.

    Our Universities

  • We work with partner organisations to create joint scholarships and grants within our network of top universities, as well as providing partners with access to our network of brilliant graduates and alumni.

    Become a Partner

  • We collaborate with charities with similar aims in a variety of ways to support our joint missions of development and education with a focus on the Middle East and refugees. This might entail supporting joint scholarships, providing connections with university or student partners, or something else entirely.

    Our Partners

The Amjad & Suha Bseisu Foundation was founded by Amjad and Suha Bseisu in 2005 with the desire to empower young people and support disadvantaged communities in the Levant and Malaysia. Having suffered as first and second-generation refugees, Amjad and Suha wanted to focus on increasing the availability of equal opportunities for all.

The Foundation began providing grants for organisations and opportunities that transformed people’s lives. Amjad and Suha focussed on positively impacting the lives of men, women and children across the Middle East, supporting organisations that worked to relieve poverty, advance education and healthcare and provide overseas aid and famine relief.

The Foundation has grown into a multi-directional body, with a growing focus on the education and empowerment of disadvantaged individuals, especially women and young people. With this in mind, the Foundation concentrates on enabling talented people from the Levant and Malaysia to access world class higher education. We continue to support a broad range of charities and organisations, united in the goal of empowering individuals and inspiring brighter futures.

We work with many universities and organisations across the UK and the US to share the costs of masters’ scholarships. Working with such a range of world-renowned universities and organisations has made it possible for us to offer this opportunity to more outstanding young women and men regardless of their financial means. We are consistent in our support of scholars, charities and communities.

The Bseisu Foundation has a core interest in inspiring brighter minds and brighter futures within the younger generation. We empower young people from the Middle East and Malaysia by providing important opportunities for higher education. We truly feel that education is the key to this empowerment and is an extraordinarily powerful tool in making a real difference.
