Our Scholarships with Imperial

The Bseisu Foundation has proudly partnered with Imperial College London to provide scholarships to young people from the Levant region.

Originally founded in 1907, with the Business School opening in 2004, Imperial College London focuses exclusively on science, technology, medicine and business, and has traditionally been known for world class STEM teaching.

Imperial’s outstanding expertise in these areas has aligned perfectly with the Foundation’s academic interests and has led to an ongoing, mutually beneficial partnership, with our first shared scholarship awarded in 2017.

Since then, we have supported young scholars studying STEM and Business courses at ICL and at the Imperial College Business School, and we are so proud to be continuing our partnership in 2021 for a further two years. This year, our partnership will provide scholarships covering full tuition fees to four MSc students from Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.  We will be awarding three STEM and one Business scholarship in 2021-2022, and 2022-2023.

Impressively, Imperial celebrates a truly international community, with students from over 140 countries arriving to study at the College. Over 300 students from the Middle East currently study at Imperial College London, with a strong presence of Lebanese students.

Partnering with Imperial has become very important to us and to the scholarships we are able to offer. To work so closely with an institution that not only do applicants, from the Levant, want to attend in large numbers, but also one that fully embraces and is so welcoming to all international students, has become an essential component of our partnerships.

“Our foundation is focused on empowering young scholars by investing in their education and future. Through this, we enable them to achieve their full academic and professional potential.

We are pleased to continue our work with Imperial College London this year and to have the opportunity to help deserving young people access such a prestigious institution. We are so proud to be able to provide outstanding scholars from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Levant with truly transformative experiences.”

— Mr Amjad Bseisu, Co-Founder of the Bseisu Foundation

We look forward to furthering our partnership in the future and looking for new ways in which we can collaborate, in order to encourage innovation, empowerment and education for all.
